Advertising FAQ
Who can advertise?+
Any legitimate Belize-focused business, operator, professional, organization, or service can advertise. Every signed-in user automatically has an Ads tab; there is no separate advertiser-account conversion.
Do I need to be a real estate agent?+
No. Tourism operators, hotels, restaurants, developers, relocation services, property companies, professionals, local businesses, and organizations can all create campaigns.
Why are non-agent ads reviewed?+
A quick review protects visitors and legitimate businesses from misleading destinations, prohibited offers, and spam. You can build, preview, save, and edit immediately; the campaign simply does not serve until approved.
How does billing work?+
Save a card on file. There is no subscription or prepayment. Impressions accrue at the rate for each selected placement, and billing runs when accrued spend reaches $10 or every 30 days, whichever comes first.
Where can ads appear?+
You choose from listing feeds, listing-detail pages, map inventory, homepage partner placements, rentals, places, video tours, and Live TV placements. Availability and rates are shown in the campaign builder.
Can I pause or edit a campaign?+
Yes. Campaigns can be paused, edited, or archived from the Ads dashboard. Public creative changes on non-agent campaigns return to the review queue before serving again.
What results can I see?+
The Ads dashboard reports real impressions, clicks, spend, click-through rate, and placement sources so you can see where attention is coming from.
