The Eddie appears on maps and is surrounded by a 200-foot cliff. Further upriver, the Macal straightens out for nearly ¾ of a mile. The Dining Room sits on a point that overlooks the straight portion of the river. That view from the Dining Room is their signature photo!There are also numerous accesses to the river, all made very easy to navigate with easy switchbacks and paved walkways with steps and railings.The entire resort is pretty much self-sufficient. Generating their own electricity and water as well as having their own ecofriendly vegetable garden that supplies most of the vegetables for the kitchen.The neighbouring farm provides the resort with pork products, lamb and goats both for milking, cheese making and meat.
